Mini recenzie The girl who loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King

The world had teeth and it could bite you with them anytime it wanted. Trisha McFarland discovers this when she is nine years old. Lost in the woods. 

Trisha has only veered a little way off the path. But in her panic to get back to her family, she takes a turning that leads into the tangled undergrowth, deeper into the woods.

At first it's just the bugs, midges and mosquitoes. Then comes the hunger. For comfort she tunes her Walkman into broadcasts of the Red Sox baseball games and the performances of her hero Tom Gordon.

As darkness begins to fall and Trisha struggles for survival and a way out, she realizes that she is not alone. There's something else in the woods - watching. Waiting...


My opinion:

Desi mai am destule carti cumparate scrise de Stephen King,aceasta am imprumutat-o de la biblioteca pentru ca asa fac eu mereu :))
E a doua carte pe care o citesc de acest autor si nu inceteaza sa ma surprinda. Chiar daca e o poveste scurta, ca si Carrie, imensitatea scrisului acestuia se vede peste tot. Ador scrisul acestuia si dedicatia cu care scrie orice poveste, de orice dimensiune. Investitia pe care o arata in fiecare carte a sa... Rar mai gasesti asa ceva la un autor. 
Mi-a placut intesitatea povestii si partile sale psihologice cu care autor ne obisnuieste in fiecare carte a sa. 
M-a surprins maturitatea pe care Stephen King i-a atribuit-o personajului principal feminin, o fetita de 9 ani care se pierd intr-o zi de vara in padure. E atat de interesant sa citesti despre trairile si temeriile acesteia, incat uiti ca e doar o fetita. 
Am adorat modul intortocheat al povestii si totodata atat de simplu. Scrisul acestuia imi aduce aminte de Mircea Eliade, la modul psihologic al lucrurilor si felul cum acesta poate construi o poveste atat de placuta de citit, interesanta, care iti pompeaza sangele la maxim. 
Nu ii lipseste elementul ala horror al cartii. Si a fost un bonus pe care autorul l-a oferit povestii, lasand imagineatia noastra sa o ia razna in ceea ce priveste creatura din padure.

Recomand din suflet acest volum, la fel ca si Carrie si restul cartilor acestuia. Merita citit tot ce iese din mana acestui autor. :)
